Ian McGinty - President

Ian is President of the Community Club and in this role manages both the Management Committee and the affairs of the Club and has been responsible for driving forward the quest for improved playing and changing facilities. Ian is active in the positive promotion of the community club and in reaching out to more members and teams in the local area as well as promoting the club through both social and local media as well as other channels.

James Johnstone - Vice President

Jim is the Club's Vice President and started off in the youth section as a coach in 2000, taking his first team at Under 9s. In 2001 Jim took on the position as Blackburn United Youth Football Club President and stayed in that position until the Youth Club merged with the Juniors. He is now the Club’s Vice President and Child Protection Officer.

David Jones - Secretary

A qualified goalkeeping coach, David is the Community Club Secretary and has been involved with the Club’s 1999 team for a number of years and is also instrumental in the organisation of the Club’s training and playing lets. He is a strong networker in the local community and manages enquiries for access to the facilities.

Angela Campbell - Treasurer

Angela has been Treasurer of the Community Club since August 2003. Angela assisted in the administration of the 1993 team for a number of years and now also carries out the administration and running of the Club’s Soccer School. Angela is responsible for the Club’s hospitality offerings and is heavily involved in fundraising for the Club and the Community.

Brian Smillie - Coach Development Officer

Brian is a former player, captain and assistant manager of Blackburn United and is responsible for the development needs of all the coaches associated with the Club. Brian also coaches some of our younger age groups and has been responsible for many of them going on to play pro-youth football with some of the bigger SPFL sides in the central belt.
